cardcrazycrafter.blogspot.com

Hello Friends! Today's card is the fourth card I made using my newest, favorite set from the Hero Arts Stamp Your Story "Brush Stokes" set . One of my previous cards was done using this same large brush stroke stamp but done in a horizontal fashion. I've also seen many cards on Flickr's Hero Arts group using the stamp in vertical and horizontal directions but realized I've never seen it used diagonal. Once I realized this, I immediately set to work on making one. I have to say....I had a blast making this card and absolutely adore how it turned out! I not only love how the stamp itself looked diagonally, but I am tickled with how great the colors turned out as well. Enjoy :)

Flying by.....

Today's card was inspired by the Lawn Fawn stamp set "Flying By". This stamp set is so adorable and reminds me of my four boys when they were younger. They absolutely loved making all types of paper airplanes. Where does the time go?

I embossed the background with a cloud embossing folder I found in my local craft store. I embossed it on all white paper and decided it really needed a true blue sky background so i painted in the sky with salty ocean and picket fence distress paints. I painted the paper airlane images onto a sheet of 6x6 paper i received from Lawn Fawn with my last order...I believe its out of their pink lemonade set. The two background prints are from a large paper pack I got from my local craft store as well, and I placed it on yellow cardstock inside the "say cheese" photo stamp from Lawn Fawn as well.

My kids absolutely love how this card turned out...and with the statement saying: "Flying by to say..." with the "by" removed, it leaves this card open to be just about anything you need it to be.

Enjoy!

This card was made from some left over card stock I had after making my lollipop card. I embossed it with a cuddle bug embossing folder and made the bow out of simon says stamps...Perfect Bow Craft Die...which I also used on my lollipop card. I don't know what it is but this card just makes me happy!!

This card just turned out so adorable!! I received the inspiration from this card off of Pinterest. I just punched out an array of different color circles and adhered them together...added a real sucker stick underneath and used 3d adhesive dots to add some dimension to the sucker while giving room for the stick to sit underneath. The sentiment was embossed on clear vellum with versa mark ink using the Claire's Alphabet stamps from Lawn Fawn. Yummy :)
