A Holly Christmas

I absolutely love this stamp! Its from Hero Arts and is called the "Classic Holly Stamp."  I colored my stamp with Copic markers and added some Wink of Stella to glitter it up :). I then cut it out with the Lawn Fawn "Stitched Journaling Card" Lawn cut die and then added the sentiment from Lawn Fawn's "Winter Gifts" set. LOVE IT!
What is on of your favorite Holiday stamps this season?

My Lovies

Here's a couple quick photos to share. The first is how my sweet little girl and pup fell asleep together tonight (of course the pup woke up when I tried to take pictures). The second is of our adopted elf "Hermie" and the mischief she will find him in tomorrow morning :)...These are the things that make life so amazing!!

Peace On Earth

I absolutely love this stamp from Hero Arts! It makes any card look beautiful. I've seen in stamped many ways, in many colors, on many different papers and it always looks awesome! What do you think? And oh how I love my May Arts crinkled ribbon :)

Enjoy!

Owl Tags

I absolutely love owls. I know they've been all the hype lately, and I can see why. They are soo adorable and fun...especially in card making.
Lawn Fawn has one of these adorable owl stamps for the Christmas season. I've had it for awhile but wasn't sure how I wanted to use it yet. I've seen so many cute projects with it and wanted mine to be a little unique. I decided to make a tag..not just for my blog...but for the latest Lawnscaping Challenge. As I was coloring my owl...it hit me! I needed to make a white snow owl...female version...that I can also add to the Ellen Hutson feminine 12 tags of Christmas challenge. SO...Here is what I came up with! Obviously my owl is inspired by Kelly Marie's tag. I not they're not too original, but I'm happy with how they turned out none the less and to make them a little more personal....I decided to add different sentiments for my little owls than the one that came from the set.
Enjoy!

Ho HO Ho

The tag I planned to share today doesn't want to upload...So you get a card instead. This is my firs try at a shaker card ( don't laugh ). It was fun to make, and although I made a few mistakes, I'm pretty happy with the results!

I made it several weeks ago, so I don't have all the info. If you have any questions on products I used...feel free to leave a comment below and I will get the info to you asap!

Enjoy!

A Tag For You

Just a quick post tonight. I'm not feeling well so I thought I would just show you a cute tag I made quick....

This little Penguin just stole my heart when I saw him...and I knew he just needed a snowy hill to slide down. He's from Art Impressions! My sentiment is from Paper Smooches and just fits this scene so well.
Tags are an awesome way to use up those little scraps of paper you have left over:)
Enjoy!

Another Meowy Christmas

Howdy Peeps! Happy Friday :)....My favorite day of the week!! No having to wake the kids up in the morning for school...YAY!

Well, as you can guess by my title...here is another fun Meowy Christmas card for my Holiday Card Series. This fun image shows the adorable kitten Newton leaving a plate of cookies for Santa Claus.

I decided to make today's card to enter into the latest Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge that you can find here.. This challenge is a sketch challenge. The sketch is pictured below.

This was a pretty easy card for me to create. I had already colored the images a few weeks back with my Spectrum Noir markers. I added the images onto some snowflake embossed paper (Sizzix and Hero Arts) and also used some ribbon from May Arts as well as fun fun Holiday card stock. Newton's hat has a fun little pom pom on the top of his hat as well as some white liquid applique embossed on the brim. These add such fun realistic dimention...I just love the combo. And of course there's a bit of glitter added here and there with my clear Wink of Stella, cause I just can't seem to make a card without it anymore ;)

Enjoy!

In The Lane

Tonight's card is #20 in my Holiday Card Series. It was made using the gorgeous set from Mama Elephant "Winter Wonderland". I immediately fell in love with this set and its amazing winter scenery. The deer are just gorgeous...and the trees......well, they speak for themselves. I decided to use some paper from Bo Bunny that was already set up almost exactly the same with the birch trees in the background. I stamped the deer figures in front of the trees and added some extra snowflakes in all different shapes and sizes with my Unicorn pigment Ink. I then added the sentiment with some Hero Arts Black ink and to embellish, I tied a bow with some May Arts Ivory twine and used two matching Bo Bunny Buttons over the bow.
I can't wait to create more with this stamp set... Yesterday I used the set for a masculine birthday card....I love how versatile it truly is.

Enjoy!!

Happy Birthday "Deer"

Just a quick post tonight folks! Today is my sweetie's 44th, yes that's right, 44th bday (shhh....Don't tell him I told you)! So tonight we picked out our tree, (an actual real one this year) trimmed it with the kiddos.....and now I'ma gonna spend time with him! But, first I am going to show you the card I made for him quick and I wanna know what cha think?!

The Inside:

I don't know what it is about masculine cards, but I struggle with them...which sucks cause I have four sons so I need to get better at it and soon ;).

What do you struggle with in your crafting? I'd love to hear what your strengths and weaknesses are.

Have a good evening y'all!

 Enjoy :)

Baby Its Cccc-coooooold Outside!

And man is it ever cold outside today!! We had a huge snowstorm blow in over during the night last night-landing our trampoline (which was leaning up against the house blocked from the wind on two sides) on top of our dog kennel.....say what?! Crazy crazy weather........BRRRR!!!

So today's card, which I believe is #19 in my Holiday Card Series, was stamped with an adorable snowman image that I received in my Hero Arts Holiday surprise box. The set is called "Share the Joy."  If you haven't noticed yet...I absolutely adore snowmen....and this one is no exception! I don't know what it is, but snowmen make me happy, so don't be surprised when and if you see more of them popping up on my blog..hehe!

So, what's your favorite Holiday/Winter Character? Leave me a comment, and a link to your blog post..I'd love to see what you've been up to too :)

Enjoy!

A Bunch of Christmas

Hello friends :). I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving weekend! As you may have noticed....I decided to take a hiatus from my blog for the week so I could just relax and enjoy my family! We had a nice weekend at home and spent Thanksgiving day at my wonderful in'law's house this year. I know that this is the last year my kiddos will all be together for quite awhile. I have two older boys who may not be around next year for the Holidays and I am trying to relish every minute of it this year before they are gone..(add sniffle here).

So today I'm sharing a set that I put together quickly using one of the stamps from the SSS "Holiday Borders" set. I white embossed the image after stamping with Versamark Ink. I just love the contrast of this gorgeous stamp on red cardstock..don't you?  It reminds me of a Christmas sweater. And then, as you can see, I finished them each off a little bit different! Fun, Festive, and Fast :)....Enjoy!
